Barb began in obedience with her mixed breed, Barney, in 1986. Since then she has put numerous AKC/UKC CD (Companion Dog) titles and AKC/UKC CDX (Companion Dog Excellent) titles on her dogs. Gidget, her Smooth Fox Terrier, is still (2 years after passing away at 13 years old) the most titled Smooth Fox Terrier in history with 53 titles in Obedience, Agility, Rally, and Earthdog! Barb has instructed classes in competition oriented obedience since 1990, teaching breeds ranging from Maltese to German Shepherd Dogs. She also competes in all venues of agility and has multiple agility championships on multiple dogs, and in AKC and APDT Rally Obedience. |
